On September 4, 2016, the opening of the bust of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky was held in the Netherlands. The International Charity Public Fund “Dialogue of Cultures – United World” donated the bust to the Dutch Theosophical Society.

The international public organization “Theosophical Society” was founded in the second half of the 19th century in New York. Nowadays it operates in more than 25 countries around the world. One of the three founders of the organization was the Russian philosopher, writer and publicist Helena Blavatsky. The legacy of Helena Blavatsky had a great influence on the followers of a so-called “Religion of Wisdom”, which main principle is the idea, that “there is no religion higher than truth”. Thanks to the work of H. Blavatsky, the branches of the Theosophical Society appeared not only in the USA, where it originated, but also in the United Kingdom, France and India.

In 2015 the Fund installed the bronze bust of the founder of Theosophical Society in the hall of its headquarters in Adyar, India. The bust donated to the Dutch branch in the city of Naarden is the second, installed by “Dialogue of Cultures - United World”.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the International Theosophical Society Tim Boyd (USA), President of the European Federation of Theosophical Societies Trân-Thi-Kim-Diêu (France), Chairman of the International Theosophical Centre Arend Heybrook (the Netherlands) and other distinguished guests, as well as members of the European theosophical organizations, representatives of media and the public.

Currently, it is negotiated to install the third bust at the premises of the Theosophical Society in Chicago, uniting three parts of the world via the memory of its founder and further development of the ideas of Helena Blavatsky.
