CONFERENCE OF RUSSIAN COMPATRIOTS IN THE ETNOMIR

On October 17-19, 2021, on the initiative of the International Charitable Foundation “Dialogue of Cultures - United World”, meetings and discussions were held in the congress hall of the KOTC “ETNOMIR” as part of the Conference of Russian Compatriots. The event was held at the end of the program of the VII World Congress of Russian compatriots living abroad, “Russia and compatriots in a changing world.”

Participants: chairmen of the Coordination Councils of organizations of Russian compatriots from a number of foreign countries and heads of other public organizations, Russian compatriots from more than 15 countries. Welcoming speeches were given to the audience by:

P. A. Shevtsov – Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad, supervising international humanitarian cooperation;
Duke Michel Ngebana – Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Pointe-Noire (Republic of the Congo);
R. F. Bayramov is the President of the International Charitable Foundation “Dialogue of Cultures - United World”, head of the “ETNOMIR” project.

Topics of conference panel sessions:

1. Repatriation program.
2. The cultural and historical heritage of Russian compatriots abroad.
3. Cooperation between regions of the Russian Federation.
4. Russian schools abroad.

At the conference, current issues were discussed, opinions and experiences were exchanged. The undoubted value of this event was productive work along with informal communication between people united by one topic and looking for ways to solve related problems.
