ETNOMIR and three Russian regions signed cooperation agreements at INTURMARKET-2017

On Monday, March 13, 2017, the main project of the Fund «Dialogue of Cultures-United World», the Cultural and Educational Tourist Center ETNOMIR and three regions of the Russian Federation - Voronezh, Irkutsk and Tula - signed the agreements of intent to cooperate. The goal of partnership is the implementation of a large-scale project – “Russia in ETNOMIR.”

The implementation of the project “Russia in ETNOMIR” is one of the priority activities of the Fund. The presentation of the project “Russia in ETNOMIR” to the regions of Russia was held in the press center of the XII International Tourism Exhibition “Intourmarket” - one of the largest annual events in the field of the Russian and international tourism supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture, the Federal Agency for Tourism, the Department of National Policy, Interregional Relations and Tourism of Moscow, the World Tourism Organization and many other institutions.

"The idea of the project is simple: each region is given a land plot for ownership, a certain set of proposals that can be realized, and then, the interaction and development are facilitated».

The meeting resulted in the solemn ceremony of signing the agreements of intent by the acting Chairman of the Committee on the Development of Tourism of the Tula Region Alexander Dushakov, the head of the Tourism Agency of the Irkutsk Region Ekaterina Slivina. The signed agreement was handed over by the head of the Department for Cultural Affairs of the Voronezh Region Emilia Sukhacheva. On behalf of ETNOMIR the agreements were signed by its Director-General Tatyana Grigoryeva.

Previously, the agreements of intent to cooperate have been signed with the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. Participation in the project “Russia in ETNOMIR” is a great opportunity for regions to strengthen a positive image among tourists, promote brands and get broad information, organizational and business support from the leading state and private organizations of the country and the world.
