During the period from January 21 to January 30, 2020, the Humanship international youth exchange events took place on the territory of the cultural and educational center “ETNOMIR”, carried out with the support of the “Dialogue of Cultures - One World” foundation and co-financed by the European Union Erasmus+ program.

The project brought together 38 participants aged 18 to 30 from countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Serbia, Greece, Sweden, and Russia.

The main goals of the project were to promote the ideas of tolerance and respect for cultural diversity, international youth cooperation, and increase active citizenship among young people. During the project, all participants were able to get acquainted with Russian culture, as well as the culture of other countries: a significant place in the Humanship program was occupied by events dedicated to cultural diversity - on one of the first days of the project, an intercultural evening was held, where participants presented national clothes, traditions, dances, cuisine of their countries. In addition, the participants were able to expand their knowledge in the field of sustainable development, international relations, and strengthened their personal and leadership qualities. There were also many events dedicated to global social problems, issues of ethnic and gender stereotyping, during which participants expanded their horizons, studied the diversity of opinions, and learned to find compromises.

One of the most exciting events for Humanship was a trip to Moscow, during which our guests were able to communicate with peers, take part in a photocross and get acquainted with all the iconic places of the capital.

The project partners were such organizations as Framtidståget (Sweden), Gymnastics & Acrobatics Association of Larache (Morocco), Have A Dream (Egypt), Udruzenje Kibitz Kolektiv (Serbia), IASIS (Greece).
