Yuri Gagarin’s bust installed in China

The project was realized with support of the Russian Federation Consulate General in Shenyang.
The unveiling of the monument took place at the opening ceremony of the “Russian town”, which became a significant event for strengthening relations between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China. The “Russian town” features recreational, tourist and educational areas and has a hospital for people with disabilities, a multifunctional center for the development of cultural exchanges, a school of culture, and a number of monuments.
The official unveiling ceremony was held with the participation of musical groups and representatives of the Chinese and Russian public, members of the press and honorable guests. The Russian delegation was led by the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang Sergei Paltov.
Dialogue of Cultures - United World Fund expresses its gratitude to China for according a warm welcome to the sculpture and honoring the first astronaut. The friendly welcome of Yuri Gagarin’s bust in China underlines the importance of the Fund’s project.
