«Dialogue of Cultures - United World» Fund was a co-organizer of the Russia Forum New York 2015 international forum.

Russian Economic Forum Russia Forum New York 2015 took place in New York with the support of «Dialogue of Cultures - United World» International Public Charity Fund. The International Congress gathered businessmen and politicians, including the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the USA Sergei Kislyak, Executive Director of the Council on US-Russian relations Derek Norberg, President of the Russian Center in New York Elena Branson, President of the «Dialogue of Cultures - United World» Fund Ruslan Bayramov, as well as representatives of major American and Russian banks, industrial corporations, investment funds, media companies and other organizations. The Congress was dedicated to a long-standing issue of economic cooperation between America and Russia. The forum raised a number of important issues related to economic cooperation, business and innovations in Russia, as well as relations between the media and business.

Sergei Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the USA, was the most anticipated speaker of the forum. In his speech, he noted that despite the current situation, Russia is still open for business and continues to be a country which has proved to be a reliable partner fully implementing its foreign trade commitments; moreover, even in the best years of the Russian-American trade turnover between the countries amounted to only 40 billion US dollars a year, while the annual turnover between Russia and the European Union 10-fold exceeds this figure amounting to 400 billion Euro. Ambassador also noted that sanctions imposed by the US Government had virtually no impact on exports from America to Russia, and, moreover, the volume of direct exports increased by 5%.

Derek Norberg, Executive Director of the Council on US-Russian relations, also brought into focus the fact that the transformation of economic sanctions into levers of political pressure on the state is unacceptable. During his speech in the first session, «Economic Cooperation», President of «Dialogue of Cultures - United World» Fund Ruslan Bayramov supported the common position of the speakers and noted that the world of the future should be based on international cooperation and dialogue. The same position was supported, in general, by the rest of the forum.

Anatoliy Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga region, sent a welcome letter to participants of the forum held in the United States. «I am convinced that suggestions and initiatives developed during the forum will help strengthen mutually beneficial international cooperation between our countries and build direct contacts among business circles» - the letter says.

The Russian Economic Forum was organized by the Russian Center in New York with the support of Gorchakov Fund, «Dialogue of Cultures - United World» Fund, Coordinating Council of the Russian Compatriots Organization in the United States and Congress of Russian Americans. Today, this forum is a significant event in the economic world. Thus, in January 2015 Russia Forum New York was awarded the prize «Silver Archer - United States» as an important initiative aimed at expanding business ties between Russia and the United States.
